CENTRAL RAILROAD OF INDIANA (CIND)
Central Railroad Company of Indiana (CIND) is a Class III short-line railroad that stretches through five southeastern Indiana Counties and into Ohio, operating 96 miles of track. CIND interchanges with CN, CSXT, and NS, Class I railroads and provides an integral link between Indiana and Ohio in this area. CIND moves over 8,500 cars per year of the major commodities of grain, soybeans, chemicals and steel. The CIND also offers customers transload facilities to handle these primary commodities enabling shippers to provide service where a customer may not be rail served.
CIND is always looking for new customers to locate on the rail line and have Industrial Development personnel to help customers relocate to this area.
