ARIZONA AND CALIFORNIA RAILROAD (ARZC)
The Arizona & California Railroad (ARZC) is a RailAmerica short line property. The ARZC began operations between 1903 – 1907 by the Arizona & California Railway. By 1910 the line stretched its reach to Cadiz, CA.
Located at Cadiz, CA, the ARZC begins with an interchange with the BNSF and continues southeast across the Mojave Desert to Ripley, than east to cross the Colorado River Arizona/California state line at Parker, AZ. The railroad continues east to Matthie.

The major commodities moved on the ARZC are include petroleum gasses, steel and lumber culminating in over 12,000 cars per year. Located on this line are multiple petroleum facilities and the ARZC provides an important transportation service for these customers in moving this product.
